This class covers the theory and operation of two stroke and four
stroke cycle diesel engines.
Components covered in detail include dry sleeves, wet liners, pistons, bearings, valve trains, lubrication systems, cooling systems, and fuel systems.
Safety and shop procedures are an important part of this class which is intended primarily for those new to the trade or not familiar with diesel engines.
